HOPE, fair fashion in action is dedicated to giving back to those most in need. Fortunately, being located in Thailand, we are in a position to make a little go a long way.
We are currently involved in two projects.
- HOPE, fair fashion in action has designed a dress to raise funds for the 5-Alive Campaign which keeps the Internally Displaced People of Burma, who are victim to ethnic cleansing, alive. Since we live in Thailand, the situation in Burma is very close and very real to us. Your purchase will keep a child alive today. How you can make a difference: Join the “World of HOPE” campaign!
World of HOPE campaign
By carrying HOPE products in your store or simply receiving products to sell at home, you are helping disadvantaged hill-tribe women to make an honest living AND support their extended families. Regular income is the key to making progress, especially for village people who rely solely on income from farming. The money sent home from our tailors helps provide necessities that we all take for grant – a water supply, electricity, transport and heat.
Naa loves to visit her family in the village, but feels pressure as soon as she is away from her tailoring job. A fixed, fair and living wage allows her to enjoy her visit to her village all the more as she gets to watch her family benfit from the money that she sends home.
Our “World of HOPE” campaign also donates clothing to Burmese refugees and Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
