Blue skies followed by…..

I’m pleased (I’m sounding more British everyday!) to say my pursuit of business here in the UK has been quite successful thus far. Of course, the fact that me and my family members are literally on model 24-7 does help with the marketing. But really, everyone has been extremely friendly, despite initial reactions to my blasted accent!

The HOPE spring 2009 collection is being test marketed over the weekend at a trade show in Manchester. Fingers crossed!

It’s bloody pouring down rain on the 4th of July!! Yes, you’ve guessed it—the family has finally arrived in jolly (freezing) ‘ole England to a) promote HOPE in Europe and b) visit the family. Ooops I should probably flip those a’s and b’s hadn’t I? (Look I’m already phrasing sentences as a proper English girl)!

Clothing Drive for Orphaned Cyclone Victims

Burmese children benefit from your generosity

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate a few bucks to the orphaned cyclone victims of Burma. We went shopping yesterday and filled our baskets with cotton T-shirts and shorts in various sizes for both boys and girls. There have been two trucks that have gone over to Burma via Thailand in the last month. We have received reports that the first truck load has been received and the items distributed
