So today I was fed up. REALLY fed up of Thailand. This of course is based on my dealings with the administration of my kids’ school. But today I was so fed up with Thailand that I was really considering leaving. And don’t get excited family---I was strategizing on how to get to Nepal or India!!!

Then of course I had a really good day. The first thing that happened which was so hysterical——was that I was driving down good ‘ole Hang Dong Rd. Which I’d say is equivalent to a very slow paced freeway complete with all the ugliness of billboards. I checked my rearview mirror and I saw this motorbike in back of me without a driver. All I could see were two appendages akimbo straddling the bike. I did a double take as one would. Then the bike zipped passed me and this guy was laying on his bike, belly down and arms outstretched, pulling Mr.Evil Knieval (sp?) tricks, and traveling at a rapid speed amongst a standard Honda Wave. He then, very gracefully hopped back aboard properly. Well I was so thrilled I started honking my horn, clapping my hands and cracking up. A truckload of Thai’s beside me joined in on my fun and we went hollering and screeching down Hang Dong. Ya see, sometimes you just gotta love it here!

Then when I got to my destination I met this woman who lived in Glendale (small world) and I’m going to partner with her in selling eco-friendly wooden toys and she’s going to help sell HOPE fair trade children’s clothing. A win-win situation and an acrobatic show all in one lovely Chiang Mai morning.
