Rapid Update
The good news here in the tropical land of children’s clothing is that the World of HOPE response rate is up. I guess some people heard my plea for humanity! And the people who respond are open minded and full of life. Thank Goodness, because those are the only type of people I want to work with!
The partner-up news: It’s a real challenge. The people that are really interested are full-on business people and frankly the older the men are, the scarier they are. It’s really hard

Actually we even let them pick out their clothing and take photos with whichever friend they wanted to. No hassles, we would make it work. We talked about how fun it was going to be all morning and got them all psyched up. Minutes before everyone arrived Deva came strolling down the stairs grinning from ear-to-ear. “Mommy,”

Challenges
So when you live in the tropics and you design children’s clothing and you plan a model shoot for your winter line, make sure the power doesn’t cut out. It makes for hot, sweaty, irritable crying kids and really, really bad photos like this: “Dad, I’m boiling!”
Yep try dressing your kids in a turtle neck, tights, corduroy jumper w/ cotton apron, put them in a steam room and then ask them to be cute and smile. Trust me, ice
