The good news here in the tropical land of children’s clothing is that the World of HOPE response rate is up. I guess some people heard my plea for humanity! And the people who respond are open minded and full of life. Thank Goodness, because those are the only type of people I want to work with!

The partner-up news: It’s a real challenge. The people that are really interested are full-on business people and frankly the older the men are, the scarier they are. It’s really hard to stick to my idealistic ways when I really do need to sell a percentage of the biz. It’s a true test of faith.



And speaking of faith, the poor tailors are losing it! Well they are a bit worried shall we say? Today I caught our fastest tailor crying. Obviously they can feel it: The fabric is diminishing at a rapid rate! But of course with my horrible Thai, I can’t explain World of HOPE to them and World of HOPE will be our saving grace——I believe it!
