Living abroad, there are sure to be dozens of misunderstandings. It’s one thing to get served the wrong dinner, it’s another thing when you’re trying to make clothing. I of course learned that lesson the hard way last year when my master tailor cut 300 of the wrong children’s dresses in fabric I could not replace. I know it could’ve been worse. But even with that lesson under my belt, the misunderstandings continue to stack up. Most of the time I can figure where I went wrong, but sometimes it is WAY beyond me!

Yesterday, I explicitly (or so I thought) asked for 3 of the women’s rodeo jackets to bemade in the floral grove printed fabric with olive detailing. I got the three, but I also got six more without the olive detailing. We can easily fix them (it doesn’t work without contrast!) but the question is how on earth did it happen? I mean c’mon I learned my numbers the first week I was here! These are the occurrences that leave me baffled.
Cheers & Ciao for Now,
Gina
