HOPE fair trade design & development

HOPE Fair Trade designs, develops and produces marketable fair trade products.
HOPE strives to make long-term commitments to the sustainability of the production process as well as the cultural heritage of the groups that we work with.
Additionally, HOPE Fair Trade partners with established companies and their established products to assist in the shift to Fair Trade production.
Currently we design and develop fairly traded products for companies in the U.S.A, Australia and Japan.
HOPE’s journey into the world of Fair Trade began after Gina and Greg Hope witnessed the natural spirit of giving and receiving one October day in India.
Their then four-year-old son smiled broadly and handed his too-small clothing to a street boy in New Delhi. The transaction was beyond outward beauty, it was inner purity on both sides. Completely lacking judgment, it was the true nature of giving and receiving. HOPE, fair trade design & development was crystallized that very instant and the plans for a company based on global community began.

HOPE is inspired by the world we live in. We inhale it’s people, its landscapes, it’s colors, it’s flavors, it’s very scent, and we exhale to create fashionable products symbolic of our traveling experiences. Hope believes in travel because the knowledge, acceptance and understanding of different ways, people and ideas is the very colorful road to a respectful, safer, kinder world.
